Recap of 2009 in a Nut Shell!!!!!

So here it is people I have not blogged in a long time. Ya I know I know ( Amanda) but I have been busy. I know what your thinking busy with what? Well I'm glad you asked. So here it is my top five fav books of 2009

1. One of the best books I have ever read (besides Twilight) ,you will fall in love with all things Peeta and Katniss and her bad ass kung fu LOL love her!!!! This book has so much dept to it I can't even describe it!!!!


















2. This would have been my first choice but seeing as it is the second book to the series I thought that would be wired to start with the 2ND one. So you already know Katniss and Peeta
so it is so gut wrenching to read about what they go through. Pick up these books you will not be disappointed.







3, 4, and 5. I'm going to go in order just in case you want to read them. Lets Start with City of Bones, then City of Ashes, and the then City of Glass. These book are amazing!!!! I love how Cassandra is so funny and whitey she really has made a beautiful world and it takes place in New York what could be better, then a bunch of teenagers running around NY kicking some Demon ass. Love it!!!! If you want a fun and romantic heart felt, funny and charming these are the books for you.





Honorable Mention I cried so hard while reading this book I couldn't even see the pages. Yes people is a big girl book. Thanks to my girl Emily who gave to me for my birthday. I loved it!!! It's was real for me I had a hard not relating with Clary this is why I read the teeny bopper books!!!!!

The weather in the great state of Texas

So we have lived here for about a year and half and we love it don't get me wrong. But I'm a Cali girl and there is some freaking crazy ass weather out here. We have been through are first tornado, and let me tell you it was not fun. It didn't even touch down and the damage was every where. Trees were knocked out and the power was out for us at least for 5 hours. The pic is the starting of what is going to be a tornado it touched down about 5 miles from us. (fyi it was green outside just like in the wizard of Oz no joke)

Ok so I can't help my self

I promised I wouldn't do this (only family stuff Sarah) ! But I can't help it I have to write about what I love and it's twilight. I'm definitely Team Edward always and forever but OMG Team Jacob is not looking so bad. After reading the twilight serious for the third time I have come to realize I'm a big Jacob fan. Yummy Yummy!!!

Im new to this

So I decided today that I'm going to start to blog. I figure this is a way to keep in touch with my family so they can know what is going on with my life. Hopefully I will not get lazy and keep it up!! Enjoy!!
